Giorgio Bronz
Studies
Dr. Bronz studied medicine at the University of Zurich where, in 1973, he passed the Swiss State Examination. During the same year, he obtained the American ECFMG diploma (Educational Coucil for Foreign Medical Graduates). Having obtained the FMH (Foederatio Medicorum Helveticorum – Swiss Medical Federation) qualification in general surgery, he went on to specialise in plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery, obtaining the FMH diploma in 1983.

Professional Experience
Dr. Bronz has consolidated his professional experience in prestigious hospitals and clinics, training beside some of the most renowned specialists. General Surgeon at the Universitätsspital and at the Kinderspital of Zurich, chief resident at the Kantonsspital of Frauenfeld and at the Kreuzspital in Chur, training in plastic-reconstructive surgery and in maxillofacial surgery at the Inselspital in Bern with Professor Tschopp, specialisation in aesthetic surgery in the Bellevue-Klinik in Zurich under the direction of Dr. Vogt: Dr. Bronz has accumulated professional experience of indisputable international value over the years. This experience has been further enhanced by important professional experiences in America: Atlanta (Prof. J.R. Lewis), Miami (Prof. H.L. Gordon and Prof. T.J. Baker), Guadalajara (Prof. J. Guerrerosantos), Buenos Aires (Prof. J. Juri), and Rio de Janeiro (Prof. I. Pitanguy). In 1984 he opened his private clinic for plastic-aesthetic surgery in Lugano.
Consultancy
In addition to successfully running his private plastic-aesthetic surgery clinic, Dr. Bronz operates in the private clinics of ARS Medica in Gravasano and Sant'Anna in Sorengo. He was also a plastic surgery consultant at the Ospedale San Giovanni in Bellinzona and at the Cantonal Senology Centre.
Training and Research
Dr. Bronz also counts numerous experiences in training and education. In 1999 the ISAPS (International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery) granted him the title of Professor for teaching post-graduate plastic-cosmetic surgery. Moreover, since the year 2000, he has worked as a professor at the Lipoplasty University in the United States (Austin, Texas). Thanks to his extensive experience, Dr. Bronz has also distinguished himself in the field of research: in fact, over the years he has published more than more than 40 scientific works. |
